Award-Winning Songwriter Shares New Christmas Music and Stories Created to Be Shared
From Sisters Singing Holiday Classics to Books Meant to Be Enjoyed Across Generations
San Francisco, CA -- As the Christmas season opens and families look toward a new year, Bay Area award-winning songwriter and storyteller Tricia Greenwood is sharing a body of work created with one intention in mind: to bring people together through stories and music meant to be shared.
Recognized for her contributions, Greenwood has spent years creating children’s books, music, and romantic fiction that invite connection across generations. Her children’s titles encourage parents and grandparents to read aloud, laugh, and talk together, while her romantic novel, Glitterella , and its companion music album, “Let it Shine,” speak to girls and women who love romantic stories filled with heart, imagination, and music.
This season also marks the release of Greenwood’s first Christmas album, featuring her and her sister Francine Privitera singing beloved holiday classics together. Recorded as sisters rather than performers, the album reflects the family spirit at the center of Greenwood’s work, familiar songs shared in a way that feels personal and timeless, along with some new Christmas songs never released.
Among her children’s books is “Ee I Ee I KNOW,” written to spark joyful reading moments between fathers and children, along with newer stories, “Heartwarming Bedtime Stories” and “I Am Brave, I Am Kind, I Am Me” centered on kindness, sharing, and empathy, often shared by mothers and grandparents with the children in their lives.
“I’ve always believed that stories and songs are meant to live in the room with us,” Greenwood says. “They create moments where people sit closer, listen longer, and feel connected.”
Rather than focusing on individual releases, Greenwood views her work as a growing collection of shared experiences, with books to be read aloud, music played during holidays, and stories that invite reflection and conversation.
As families move through the Christmas season and into a new year, Greenwood hopes her stories and songs find their way into moments that matter most.
